Key Dates
1st July - Come down to our 'get together' at the Carriageworks Theatre at 6pm on Tuesday 1st July. You'll be able to meet the Production Team and find out some more about the audition process and plans for the show!
6th July - Group workshop auditions (compulsory for all auditionees) and principal auditions at Crank Studios (Beryl Burton Gardens (off Queen Street), Morley, LS27 9FN)
8th July - Group workshop auditions for those who are unable to audition on 6th and principal auditions at the Carriageworks Theatre, Leeds
Group Workshop Auditions - More Information
The group workshop is a compulsory part of the audition, even if you are only auditioning for a principal role. The advanced dance workshop is not compulsory.
The timings for the workshops on Sunday 6th July are as follows:
12.00pm – 1.00pm - Junior Workshop - Year 3 – Year 11 (from September 2025)
1.00pm - 2.00pm - Adult Workshop - Year 12 and over (from September 2025)
2.00pm - 2.30pm - Advanced Dance Workshop - Year 8 and over (from September 2025)
The timings for the workshops on Tuesday 8th July will be communicated in due course but please be available between 6pm and 8pm if you need to audition on 8th July.
The groupings of the age groups are for audition purposes only and may vary once we have completed casting the show.
Principal Auditions - More Information
All the audition material for the principal auditions is linked underneath the signup form on the link at the bottom of this email. If you have signed up for a principal audition you will receive a separate email in the next few days with your audition date and time. In most cases this will take place on the same day as your workship audition. Don't forget that all the audition material is here on the LIDOS website, click HERE to access it!

Tuesdays and Wednesdays (6pm to 8pm) and Sundays (2pm to 5pm)
Show Fees & Membership
To be a part of the show you will need to pay become a member of the society. See details of our membership fees here: https://www.lidos.co.uk/pay. There will also be a show fee of £35 for all cast members. We'll let you know more about this and when the payments are due after the show has been casted.
